Chancho The Portentous
Written By Johnell Dewitt & Illustrated By Nikki Harwood

CHANCHO THE PORTENTOUS is a 128-page MG GN about a loyal pig and a video-game obsessed boy straddling reality and imagination.
When Lonnie is forced to quit the final level of his game to spend the day outdoors, he’s doomed to boredom until Chancho’s attempt to cheer up Lonnie reveals a hidden world plagued by enemies from Lonnie’s game-fueled imagination. The two heroes must battle their way across the farm to beat the most epic level Lonnie has ever faced.
J. DeWitt (author) & Nikki Harwood (illustrator) created CHANCHO THE PORTENTOUS with reluctant and #ND readers, like their sons, in mind.

Considerations
This version was designed for the Tapas/Kickstarter Daydreaming contest. Based on the bones of Chancho and Lonnie's adventures, we were limited to only 10 pages and a fairly quick turnaround. The story needed to be formatted to be potentially printed in a book but also accessible as a vertical layout scrolling comic
